Full time Arting

Recently I gave up my part time job, it was very part time, but it still interfered with my time, or lack of, to complete any drawings. I am very lucky in that I am able to do this and wish all creatives could do this! Creating a drawing in coloured pencils is very time consuming, it can take many hours for the detail and depth to be built up using very small and fine pencil tips. But I absolutely love spending the time, watching it build, layer upon layer into the finished detailed portrait. What I have been exploring more is a smaller size of portrait on smaller sheets of paper, these are obviously quicker and less time consuming, I am liking how quicker they are to complete, around 6-10 hours and will be offering this size more, it is A5 which is around 8”x6” or 210×148mm Obviously you cannot achieve the same amount of detail as in a larger portrait but I am very happy with the quality of detail in this size.
